ECHO Developer Program
The ECHO Developer Program currently recruits contributors for Android and Apple mobile development (iPhone and iPad), including mobile UI, playback, cross-device connectivity, mobile audio, and device testing.
This program participates in Android and Apple mobile development only. It does not participate in or recruit for PC development. “Apple” here means the iPhone and iPad clients, not the macOS desktop client.
- Android and iPhone / iPad client development.
- Mobile UI, playback experience, and cross-device connectivity.
- Mobile audio capabilities and real-device testing.
- PC frontend, Electron, and Windows / macOS desktop integration.
- PC-only audio paths such as ASIO / WASAPI.
- PC repository access and PC development permissions.
Program Benefits
Section titled “Program Benefits”Approved developers receive:
- Free ECHO Pro for development, testing, and validation.
- Access to the ECHO developer chat.
- Access to Android / Apple mobile repositories or collaboration materials as needed.
- A more direct channel for mobile UI, playback, connectivity, library-sync, and audio issues.
Pro eligibility exists to make development and validation easier. It may not be lent out, resold, or shared publicly.
Who Should Apply
Section titled “Who Should Apply”Consider applying if any of these describes you:

| Mobile product / QA collaborator | Able to keep testing Android / Apple mobile interaction, compatibility, connectivity, and real devices over time. |
Development Access Boundary
Section titled “Development Access Boundary”Official ECHO development is only for approved ECHO Developers. People who are not approved through the Developer Program may report issues, suggest improvements, maintain their own forks, or send documentation corrections, but they may not participate in official ECHO development, access developer repositories, use internal materials, or submit implementation work that expects to be merged.
Approved developers receive access only to the Android or Apple mobile scope required for their work. Approval does not grant access to PC repositories or PC development.
Before contributing mobile code, builds, releases, connectivity work, or engineering documentation, read the Developer Access Rules.
What To Provide
Section titled “What To Provide”When applying, include:
- QQ, for identity confirmation and group invitation.
- GitHub profile, public projects, or contribution history.
- Android or Apple mobile development experience, including your stack, released apps, public projects, or real-device work.
- The platform you want to work on: Android, Apple mobile, or both.
- The mobile direction you want to contribute to.
- Optional competitive-programming or portfolio links, such as Codeforces, AtCoder, Luogu, or other public work.
Playback-app authors and professional recording or audio workers may apply directly with a short description of their background.
You can send an application or copy the application template from the ECHO Developer page on the website. The application page is currently Chinese-only.
Boundaries
Section titled “Boundaries”Developer access and Pro eligibility are for development and validation. Do not share authorization, internal repositories, test builds, or unreleased information. Contributions should stay scoped, stable, verifiable, and aligned with ECHO’s long-term maintenance.
